Overview
Send emails as a shared mailbox, such as your department email, instead of using your individual employee email. Shared mailboxes will need to be mapped to Outlook. You may also follow these steps if you have delegate access to someone else's email.

To send as a shared mailbox, follow the steps below.
Steps
1. Add the shared mailbox. Follow the steps in this article if you do not have the shared mailbox mapped: Article - Adding a Shared Mailbox in ...
2. Open a new email.
3. Click Options on the ribbon.
4. Click on the 'From' field to highlight it.
5. You should then have a 'From' drop down box next to send. From here, you can select which mailbox you would like to send as.
