Overview
Restore deleted files and folders or restore a file or folder to a previous state. This applies to folders and files stored on network drives, such as the V drive.
Issue
To restore a deleted file or folder, follow the steps below.
Steps
- Open Windows explorer and navigate to the folder that used to contain the file or folder you would like to restore.
- Right-click on the file or folder you would like to restore, select Show More Options at the bottom of the menu, and choose Restore previous versions.
- Select the version of the file you would like to restore. Use Open to view the version of the folder/file at that point in time or use Restore to restore the version of the folder/file at that point in time. Choosing restore will overwrite the current version of the file.
