Overview
If documents or files are important to the department as a whole, they should NOT be stored on OneDrive. Departmental files should be stored on the V drive or department Sharepoint. OneDrive is only accessible to YOU, unless shared.
Issue

Make sure you’re OneDrive is provisioned. Go to https://office.uhv.edu/ and login.

Once logged in, click on the OneDrive cloud in the listed apps.

If you’ve logged in before, you should see your files and folders.

If this is your first time, it may give you a message about provisioning your OneDrive. Continue through the prompt until you see your Files page.
How to Sync:

From the web, click the Sync button.

Follow the prompts and OneDrive cloud in will be in your task bar and in your file explorer.
OR
-
Select the Start button, search for “OneDrive”.

Select OneDrive.

When OneDrive Setup starts, enter your personal account, or your work or school account, and select Sign in.

Make sure to use your UHV email.

Once you have completed the sync, you will see your OneDrive folder in File Explorer, and have a blue cloud in the bottom right of your task bar.

To sync known folders:

Right click on the OneDrive Cloud

Select Settings from the menu

Select Backup tab from the new window

Click Manage Backup
-
You should see the below screen. You can either back up the three of those folders or deselect one if you prefer.

Select Start Backup.

This will begin to back up those three areas to your OneDrive.
