Overview
Sync SharePoint sites to your computer for quick access. Files can be opened through desktop Microsoft applications instead of through the web browser. This applies for Windows and MacOS devices.
Issue
You must be signed into OneDrive before you can sync a site. Please check your account status before syncing a SharePoint site. You can see if you are logged in by clicking the blue OneDrive icon on your task bar. A sign in button will appear if you are not signed in.
Steps
1. Go to myapps.uhv.edu and click on SharePoint.
2. Click Documents in the left column and select the site you would like to sync locally to your computer.
3. Click Sync.
4. The SharePoint site will be mapped in Windows explorer (Windows)/Finder (MacOS) on the left side and will be named University of Houston-Victoria. It may take a few minutes for the site to sync onto your computer.
Troubleshooting
You can only sync a SharePoint site if you are signed into the OneDrive sync application. If you still have trouble syncing a SharePoint site, please contact the ITS Service Center below.
