How to Find the IP Address on a Mac

To Find an IP address, there are two ways to do this.

  1. Open terminal and run ifconfig
  2. Click on the apple, select “System Preferences”, click on “Network”, and select your current internet connection (Hard wire or Wi-Fi). If you click on “Advanced” it will provide more detailed information.
