Overview
Restore deleted files and folders or restore a file or folder to a previous state. This applies to folders and files stored on Sharepoint and OneDrive including on the web portal and within the OneDrive shortcut in Windows Explorer.
Issue
To restore a deleted file or folder, follow the steps below. Steps are separated by web portal, Windows 11, and MacOS.
Restore from Web Portal - Steps
1. Sign in to myapps.uhv.edu.
2. Click the Employees tab. Choose the application where your folder/file is stored. Either Sharepoint (Department files) or OneDrive (Your individual files)
3. Navigate to your folder/file and click the 3 dots next to the name.
4. Select Version history.
5. You will now see the version history of the file. Hover over each entry and click the 3 dots next to the version number to open, restore, or delete the version. Clicking restore will overwrite the current file.
Restore from Windows Explorer (Windows 11) - Steps
1. Open OneDrive from Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder/file.
2. Right click on the folder/file, select OneDrive, choose Version history.
3. A new window will appear with a list of versions. Use the 3 dots to restore, view online, or delete the file version. Clicking restore will overwrite the current file.
Restore from Finder (MacOS) - Steps
1. Open OneDrive from Finder and navigate to the folder/file.
2. Right click on the folder/file and choose Version History.
3. A new window will appear with a list of versions. Use the 3 dots to restore, view online, or delete the file version. Clicking restore will overwrite the current file.

Additional Information
Deleted files can be found and restored from OneDrive's recycle bin.
